We are staying at a Lutheran Church here in Port Arthur, Texas. About one block from the Gulf of Mexico. Unloaded the bus, got our rooms situated (I get to stay with 12 individuals in a small classroom) chaperone meeting dinner down- resting up for night program and group assignments.
The sites are about 30 minutes from our base camp here in Port Arthur. Port Arthur did not receive as much damage as the outlying areas- where our groups will be going- either hanging drywall or cleaning out houses to get ready for drywall.
I'm having trouble posting multiple pictures at one time- but otherwise the phone seems to be working pretty well. :) May have to wait till I'm home to show the alligator(crocodile?) head and skin and the sea wall.
